Sunmemo ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Sunmemo Desktop application and the website sunmemo.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Sunmemo is a fully offline desktop application. All notes, images, settings, and files you create inside the app are stored only on your own Windows computer. We do not collect, upload, access, or transmit your personal content to our servers.
All purchases are processed by our authorized payment merchant Paddle. We never see, store, or handle your credit card number, billing details, or payment credentials. Payment data is governed by Paddle's own privacy policy.
This applies to the website only. Our website uses a third-party page-statistics and referral-attribution service provided by icodrip (icodrip.com) to measure page views and attribute referring visits to our promotional partners. This service may set non-essential cookies or use similar technologies in your browser for attribution purposes. We do not use these technologies to build advertising profiles of visitors. If you prefer not to be tracked for referral attribution, you can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings. The Sunmemo desktop application is fully offline and never loads this or any other tracking script.
When you purchase a license, we receive your order email from Paddle solely to generate and deliver your license key. We use this email only for license delivery and order-related support.
Because all your app data stays locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may delete any local file at any time by removing it from your computer. Uninstalling the application removes the program; your notes remain wherever you saved them.
Our software and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
